MOST ESPECIALLY LAGOS, OGUN, OYO, OSUN, ONDO & EKITI STATES, WITH OVER 15M OKADA & KÈKÉ MARUWA RIDERS SLEEPING ON THE ROAD-SIDES, UNCOMPLETED BUILDINGS INSIDE STREETS, ETC, TOO OPEN TO ATTACK……
PLEASE WAKE UP.

All local security guards employed by a Community must be registered with the CDA with *approval from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) covering the area.
All Streets/Community Security Guards must have bank accounts for the payment of salary, instead of hand-to-hand salary payment. Bank account is another means of identification.
* CDA Exco members must recognise their Community Security Guards very well.
Security Guards must have a traceable home/address. The community leaders must know the residence before employing a guard.
Go an extra mile to employ your Security Guard or better still, don’t employ security guard for now.
* Empty all uncompleted buildings within the community and clear all bushes periodically for absolute security transparency within the community.*
Organise Community Youths Association & WhatsApp platform for the purpose of sharing high level security vigilance with periodic updates of tangible security information and for easy communication.
* All Landlords are advised to be on the WhatsApp platform for each street to share vital Security Information.
* All car owners must register with the CDA.
* Community Excos must have restriction order in place for all Okada/Keke Marwa riders operating within their community, for the safety of everyone.
* All Landlords must build good relationship with their tenants/neighbours and inform them to be more vigilant this time of national security challenges.
° Suspect and report all illegal gatherings in your various streets.
° All CDA’s should discourage loitering about by youths or visitors.
° All crimes done in any street usually have the assistance of insiders. Trust no one.
° Mind who visits your house and mind who you visit and where you relax outside your house.
° Learn to be on a cashless level except where and when it is necessary for you to go about with cash.
° Keep all things concerning you and your family out of public space or social media.
° Spend RESPONSIBLY and avoid extravagant ones.
°Flamboyant lifestyles attract unwanted visitors.
